- מַמְזֵרָא, מַמְזֵי׳ch. sam( מַמְזֵר m. (b. h.; מזר, sec. r. of זר, cmp. מַמְגֻּרָה, מִמְכָּר, v. Arnheim Hebr. Gr. p. 17 mamzer?). Targ. O. Deut. 23:3.Yeb.78b; a. e.Fem. מַמְזֵירְתָּא, מַמְזֵרְתָּה. Lev. R. s. 32; Y.Yeb.VIII, 9c bot. שמע קלון קריין ממזירא ומ׳ he heard people call (certain persons) bastards.
